During the 1974 World Cup, which player ended the record unbeaten streak of Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff by scoring for Haiti ?

36% of players answered correctly.

THE CORRECT ANSWER: Emmanuel Sanon

It's one of the most iconic moments in world football. On June 15, 1974, at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, Emmanuel "Manno" Sanon beat Dino Zoff, who hadn't conceded a goal in an international match for 1,142 minutes. Although Haiti ultimately lost the match 3-1 to Italy, this goal made Sanon a global legend. To this day, he remains the only Haitian goalscorer in the final stages of a men's World Cup, a feat that put Haiti in the global spotlight that summer.
